Using HEIC Depth table to combine two pictures

Recommended Posts

The depth info is not of much use, as it’s only available for one of the images.

never the less:

  • rasterize depth info layer
  • rasterize to mask
  • invert mask

now the woman is made invisible

then create a mask for the second image.

I rasterized the embedded images as otherwise Photo behaved erratically

Reduce the size by move tool, and position to cover the transparent area

My posts focus on technical aspects and leave out most of social grease like „maybe“, „in my opinion“, „I might be wrong“ etc. just add copy/paste all these softeners from this signature to make reading more comfortable for you. Otherwise I’m a fine person which respects you and everyone and wants to be respected.

@Rawshooter6 It would have been better if you had asked this in the appropriate “Questions” section of the forums rather than in the “Share your work” section as the “Share your work” section is for people to show the things they have created with the software, a bit like a gallery, rather than ask questions.

A moderator might move this thread for you so there’s no need to duplicate this elsewhere.
