svg as line + strokeWidth - not vectorized

Recommended Posts

I would like to export curves, but when I export in svg, the curves (the Bezier spline) are transformed into verticorized paths! It is no longer a spline with a line thickness (as svg allows), but a double line to respect my rendering!
I want to work with Processing and do a curve transformation.
I don't need the rendering to be like in Designer, I just want the curves... as a svg file do
Can we change this behaviour in the menus for export svg?

same things when copy-paste in other software, i just want the bezier curve not the vectorized version

regards

„convert to curves“ should do the trick (before exporting).

Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.

My posts focus on technical aspects and leave out most of social grease like „maybe“, „in my opinion“, „I might be wrong“ etc. just add copy/paste all these softeners from this signature to make reading more comfortable for you. Otherwise I’m a fine person which respects you and everyone and wants to be respected.

I can't, because it is a curve... and i want it stay a curve for exporting!

(images are inverted)

i have a curve, and i want a curve in the .svg NOT a vectorized outline...

Is it possible?

Do you have a Pressure curve applied to the stroke? That is the only way I can get a spiral to export as an SVG file and be like yours.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Okay...Thanks.

Yes! i was using this tools the brush (don't know his name in english), because i love the way it works for drawing ("stabilizer")

Ok, it's a beat tricky but i am stupid and it makes sens, it's my fault, if i use the pencil with the assistant ("stabiliszzer") it export as curve,

if i use the brush, it export as vectorized...

understood.

thanks again for open my eyes.

That may depend on which Brush you've selected in the Brushes panel.

@mrbbp.the.one,

Thanks for replying with the recipe and the solution. I like when people do that, makes life easier for others in the future with the same problem.
