ljw11001 Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Is there a way to auto-number versions of the images you export? Having them all default to the document name is not a great user experience. When you export a design with Adobe's InDesign, your browser's download features checks to see if the filename has been used, and if so, appends (n) for the next available number n. That way you can easily save multiple versions without having to remember to rename every export. Using Photo with InDesign you get a seamless experience exporting (without renaming) and then opening the export folder in Photo where you can select different versions of your image using the "filmstrip" feature and switch between them using the arrow buttons. Much easier to compare versions that way.
Staff Lee D Posted November 6, 2024 Staff Posted November 6, 2024 Hi @ljw11001 Welcome to the forums. Our export process (File > Export) doesn't have an option to customise the filename to include sequence. If you're using the Export Persona in Photo or Designer part of the Slices filename will include the number of the slice.
