fjccn Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 When copying and pasting a transparent PNG image into a new image in Affinity Photo, the target image and the original image are different. Please refer to the sample image. The right side of the sample image is the original image, and the left side is the pasted image. The size of the original image is 16 px * 16 px.
GarryP Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Welcome to the forums @fjccn Without more information my first guess is that the layer containing the pasted copy is not aligned to the pixel grid (i.e. doesn't have integer X and Y pixel values).
fjccn Posted October 10, 2024 Author Posted October 10, 2024 @GarryP Thanks for your tip. I tried using special paste and the problem was solved. Direct copy and paste would cause the target image to be deformed. Thank you very much!
GarryP Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 You’re welcome, but I don’t know why Paste Special should have made a difference. A simple Copy/Paste shouldn’t “deform” anything so I’d be interested in seeing a document where this could be replicated.
