chewlian
I created a stack to align a bunch of images (100), ungrouped that stack so that I have all the layers available again but now nicely aligned. Now I'd like to export every single layer with the same crop/slice. If I select all layers and turn them into slices, they wouldn't align anymore. How can I do that without having to touch every single layer (and putting them in the same rectangle for example)? Thanks for your help! In Affinity I could only use "Rasterize and trim" before going into export Persona, but that is destructive. In Photoshop, I would select all layers and hit export. By default, it exports the visible area for each layer, but how do I do that in Affinity photo? Edited October 9 by chewlian
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Affinity forums, @chewlian. Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not sure there's anything you can do that won't be destructive, so Rasterize & Trim, followed by creating Slices in the Export Persona (in its Layers panel, select all of them and click Create Slices at the bottom of the panel), followed by Export Slices from the Slices panel may be your simplest approach. Then back in the Photo Persona, Undo should remove the effects of the Rasterize & Trim. The other approaches I can think of are no less destructive, and more work (especially to Undo). On the other hand, is being "destructive" really a problem here? You're not doing anything to the original images that you used to create the Stack. They still exist, in their unmodified forms. You just end up with 100 new images, and I'm not sure why you'd need the full Stack any more after you've done the export. (But feel free to help me learn why it would matter in this case as you obviously know more about your ultimate workflow than I do ) DavidAntagon 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
