Probably I am doing something wrong, but often I get the "start from" instead of "continue numbering". At this point I must change the option for all the chapter of the book. Is there a way to change ALL the chapters to "continue numbering?"

Thanks

Can you give us a screenshot or recording to illustrate the problem?

Sorry, I understand I was not clear. The question is very simple. If I have a book, e.g., with 20 chapters, can I set ail of them so that they have consecutive page numbers, or must I set for each of them the option Page Number Options/Continue Numbering?

You shouldn't apologize, you made yourself clear.

Unfortunately there isn't such option or command that will allow you to change page number options for all chapters in a book from `Start Numbering from Page` to `Continue from Previous Chapter` at once.

Unfortunately, you have to do it manually, one by one for each chapter. :(

I'll do... thanks, Walt!

That was bbrother, not me :)

Thanks for clarifying your question. I have never found it necessary to change them. Whenever I have added chapters to a Book the page numbers have always proceded sequentially without me taking any action. So I'm still a bit puzzled.
