Gianni Becattini Posted October 8, 2024 Posted October 8, 2024 Probably I am doing something wrong, but often I get the "start from" instead of "continue numbering". At this point I must change the option for all the chapter of the book. Is there a way to change ALL the chapters to "continue numbering?" Thanks www.k100.biz

Gianni Becattini Posted October 8, 2024 Author Posted October 8, 2024 Sorry, I understand I was not clear. The question is very simple. If I have a book, e.g., with 20 chapters, can I set ail of them so that they have consecutive page numbers, or must I set for each of them the option Page Number Options/Continue Numbering? www.k100.biz

Unfortunately there isn't such option or command that will allow you to change page number options for all chapters in a book from `Start Numbering from Page` to `Continue from Previous Chapter` at once. Unfortunately, you have to do it manually, one by one for each chapter.
Gianni Becattini Posted October 8, 2024 Author Posted October 8, 2024 I'll do... thanks, Walt! www.k100.biz

I have never found it necessary to change them. Whenever I have added chapters to a Book the page numbers have always proceded sequentially without me taking any action. So I'm still a bit puzzled. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop 1: Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. Gianni Becattini Posted October 9, 2024 Author Posted October 9, 2024 😃 in my case, they are inserted as "start from page" and very often they return to this condition. Probably something I do, but don't know why. www.k100.biz
