Eowyn Cwper
Hi, I couldn't find the answer to this online for the life of me, so here I am. How would I go about multiplying the width of all lines within a layer, even if they have different styles (width, colour…)? I'm sure this has to do with the Transform tool, but there's no weight setting that I can see there. GarryP
What type of layer do you have, and what are the contents (if any) of that layer? A full-screen (whole application UI) screenshot where your Layers Panel is visible with that layer selected and ‘opened’ would be useful. Multiple curves in a Curves layer all have the same Stroke attributes, so I’m guessing it’s not that. P.S. The Transform Panel (if that’s what you meant by “Transform tool”) has nothing to do with the Stroke width, unless the Stroke width is scaled when the layer is scaled, if that option is set ON in the Stroke Panel. Eowyn Cwper
Hi! Here's the requested screenshot. I'm unsure what you mean by Attributes, but this is indeed a layer with curves only, but curves with different widths (which I want to transform proportionately). thomaso
If you want to increase the stroke width of various objects with different width by the same factor you seem to need a workaround of scaling in two steps. Since the Stroke Panel does not offer an option to scale strokes of multiple objects individually but rather results in one common value for all selected objects you can try this steps instead: Select all objects. In the Context Toolbar activate the option "Transform Objects Separately". Scale the objects (not just their stroke width) via the Transform Panel ( * factor x) with the option for scaling with strokes activated. It will result in larger objects and individually increased stroke widths. Then rescale the objects to their initial size ( / factor x) but with this stroke option deactivated. This will result in objects of the initial size(s) but still with individually increased stroke widths. Eowyn Cwper
Oh boy, this sounds like yet another issue I don't want to have to deal with in AD lol. Thank you so much for your workaround, works great!
