Are you referring to ability to use of an Affinity app created vectors (e.g. paths and shapes) within After Effects? I am not sure if other than true AI and PS paths are actually supported (in addition to paths and shapes you create natively in After Effects). At least when I tested using EPS or PDF file, they were just rasterised when imported.

In Designer your document must not use artboards and all of the objects are curves on their own layer and then export the document as a EPS with the Rasterise field set to Nothing and the Allow JPEG compression turned off and then when you import the EPS into After Effects it will shown as a Vector art image
