Printing a Booklet in Affinity Publisher 2 from a MacBook Pro

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Forum, @Patricia Horner

Without any information about the setup of the document you're trying to print, your print settings, and not knowing the old and new printers that you're using, it's nigh on impossible to guess what the problem might be! As it is, the best I can say is that if you're using a different printer, then the settings may need to be different. (I assume you have had a look at the printer manual!) A quick fix would be to turn every other page upside down before printing.

How do I turn every other page upside down before printing??? Here are the directions I used from the Affinity help site - everything worked except the last step that says -choose short edge binding -- that was not available on the printer - could this be the problem!  Patricia   Screenshot2024-09-27at12_21_24PM.thumb.png.f7da62229add93d965ed279bb16e87aa.png

If you can access the "Layout" menu mentioned in your cited help recipe, what options does the "Two-Sided:" submenu provide you with?

Left bind, right bind, top bind

"Top bind" would be Short Edge, if your pages are in portrait format.
