Chris MA
Hello, Technical context: Affinity Photo 2.5.5 on Windows 10 I have a problem with the grey colour of the background. If I move the sliders nothing happens and I have restarted the application. The grey colour remains dark. Thank you for your help. Hangman
Hi @Chris MA and welcome to the forums, Create a new blank document first then the sliders should work... GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Chris MA I don’t think this is a bug. To see the change in the pasteboard colour you need to have a document open. This is because the pasteboard colour that you see depends on the type of document which is open and whether it contains Artboards or not, which is why there are two sliders. (I was just 'beaten to the punch' by Hangman there.) Chris MA and Hangman

GarryP
You’re welcome. If you don’t know how a particular part of the software is supposed to work it’s better to ask a question about it rather than assume there’s a bug and report it as such. Threads in the Questions section of the forums often get seen, and answered, more quickly than bug reports and not posting bug reports for issues that aren’t bugs helps to reduce the workload of the Serif staff who can then put more time into looking at actual bugs. No harm has been done, but it’s something to think about. Chris MA
