R C-R Posted September 14, 2024 Posted September 14, 2024 Unfortunately, I am not sure of the exact steps I took to create this but it happened sometime after I created a 2 node curve with the Pen Tool set to Line Mode, moved the transform origin around a few times, togged to the center anchor in the Transform panel & back to one or the other end anchor, rotated the curve a few times & set it back to R: 0°, & so on. Anyway, please look at this Transform origin problem.afdesign file in which the Transform origin target is off to the side of the curve & cannot be selected to move it around like I should be able to do. Also note that if in the Transform panel if the R: value is changed to a non-zero value, a tooltip appears over the H: value saying "A unit type modifier was found but not expected." Can anyone duplicate this & if so do you know the exact steps needed to reproduce it? GarryP Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Weird. I can’t drag or double-click on the Transform Origin of that line either. I can draw another line and that line seems to behave normally. I’m not seeing the tooltip you mention but, when I rotate the line, I see some strange rendering issues where the end of the line was, see first attached image. (This might not be related to the problem in hand, but I’m not seeing the same thing with the other line that I drew.) If I use Expand Stroke on your line (straight from opening the document without any edits) I get what can be seen in my second image, which doesn’t look right to me at all. Quote
