Asphodelle Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 I’ve looked through several threads but couldn’t find a clear solution. Here’s my issue: for some reason, I need to cut out images and export them as PNGs to use in other projects later. However, after exporting, the image ends up blurry. I’ve tried multiple export settings, but the result is always more or less the same (the one I’m sharing is the best I’ve managed to get). The same problem occurs when I export as JPEG—the quality is always lower than what I see in Affinity. For context, the dimensions here are 60x112mm (tarot card size), but I’ve also tested it with a 1080x1920px format, and the issue remains the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
GarryP Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Welcome to the forums @Asphodelle If you can share the original image (ZIP it first, and share the ZIP, so we get the exact same image) and give us details of your export settings (width, height, compression, etc.) – some screenshots of the Export Dialog might help – then we can see if we can replicate the issue.
