Jenny
I am running all latest versions of the Affinity apps on the latest version of Mac OS, but this has never worked. I use the panel with all of my most recent files (^ ⌘ O) all the time and I'd like to speed things up by searching for a specific file, but no matter what I type in the search field above, I get no results. Not even when I start typing the name of the file that's first on the list. When I get to the second or third letter, there are 0 results. The setting is on "all", not just "pinned". I feel quite stupid, what could I possibly doing wrong here? Is there another setting that I am missing? I appreciate any help! - Jenny
h_d
It looks to me as though the search is case-sensitive. If I search for 'pgx' I find nothing: If I search for 'PGX' I find these: Not sure if that's your issue but it's worth checking. Jenny
Wow, now I feel even more stupid 😂 But that actually seems to be the case. Thank you! h_d
Ron P.
@h_d, I'm not seeing that on Windows. Seems it is not case sensitive. I get the same results regardless. GarryP
This was reported here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/207925-recent-files-search-is-case-sensitive/ It has been given an official tag so Serif are aware of it, and you can follow that thread to get a notification when it’s fixed.
