Dennison
My apologies if this has been answered; I have not been able to find any answer. Is there any way to set the Corner Tool to points not % so that the bevel is the same on all rectangles irrespective of size? This is to create boxes around text and drawings. At the moment a small box appears to have no rounded corner at all when say at 1%, but a larger box has an obvious rounded corner when still set at 1%. Yes they can be changed one at a time - not ideal with 100s of boxes. Thanks Dennison
Staff MEB Posted September 6 Staff Share Posted September 6 Hi @Dennison, I'm not sure what Tool you are using. You mentioned the Corner Tool but it works with the units you have specified for your document (in this case points). If you are using the rectangle shape tool with the Round Corner option activated there's an Absolute sizes checkbox you can tick in the context toolbar (before the corner type controls) to force it to use the units you have set for your document rather than a percentage. Dennison
Thanks for prompt reply. much appreciated. The document units are set to points but the Corner tool shows only % Am I missing something?
Staff MEB Posted September 6 Staff Share Posted September 6 Seems you are using the Rectangle Tool with the Corner set to Rounded to create your boxes. Right before that control (to the left) you should see a checkbox labelled Absolute sizes. Tick it to force the Radius values to be displayed in Points.
