Vector Brushes for Affinity Designer

Recommended Posts

I know very little about brushes, but would like to purchase a brush pack that contains vector brushes with .ai and .eps file extensions (see image). From the file name extensions, will these brushes work in Affinity Designer 2?

If no, where is the best place to find brush packs that work in AD2?

Thank you.

No, the Affinity apps would not recognize those as brushes.

You need .afbrushes or .abr files (and even .abr files are not guaranteed to work).

I buy a lot of vector brushes. Frankentoon has some great ones. I bought six packs of brushes on Design Cuts who represent different companies. They always have some sort of sale. Just do a browser search on Affinity Brushes. Don't forget you can use raster brushes in Pixel Personal from Designer. I have tons of those, too.
