xicus
video: https://imgur.com/a/GVn4ZRv I opened an existing file today and couldn't see things right, and haven't been able to reopen, render layers, move them, copy them into new documents etc to get them to behave again. In the video link above, you can see that if I hide then show a layer, it displays correctly briefly, then breaks. And, if I zoom in/out, it may briefly display correctly. If I rasterize & trim the layer, it looks as displayed--wrong. I attempted to save a version of this file to share here, but it errors every time "Save failed due to an internal error." I was, however able to export a PSD, but no idea how well (https://mega.nz/file/bchX2bwZ#Vh-HS6t17gEB2Up96EPlkwRC_icRsG06w7bf4ci3J_A) Affinity Photo 2.5.3 on Windows
Hangman
Hi @xicus, Unfortunately, the PSD file is effectively blank... it contains a white fill layer and an empty pixel layer... Could you upload the last saved version of your Affinity Photo file so we can see if it's salvageable and can be opened and resaved... From your description, it sounds as though the file may be corrupt but being able to take a look would help greatly Callum 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 Affinity Designer Beta 2.6.0.2861 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.6.0.2861 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.6.0.2861 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
