Gerhard Sachs
When changing document size, the selected unit (pixel, inch and so on) is lost when I restart the software. It starts always with pixels and so I have to select the correct unit eveytime I start the software. I ask you to make this setting persistent. MikeTO
@Gerhard Sachs I recommend modifying the presets you regularly use. For example, if you use US Letter but prefer picas to inches, select US Letter from the list of presets, select picas, and then click the "Save and Overwrite Current Preset" icon. If you're using Light Mode, you'll either have to switch to Dark Mode to see the icon or mouse around to the right of the preset title above the preview to find the icon, because it's completely invisible in Light Mode. It's the second icon to the right of the preset title. By "It starts always with pixels" I think it means opening images, ie JPEG/PNG/TIFF files, since the other "documents" are already in millimeters or inches. Gerhard Sachs
The problem occurs when changing a documents size, see attached screenshot. There is no "Save and Overwrite Current Preset" icon here. But I found that the settings are saved if I store the picture as .afphoto when closing and reopen that same file the next time They are not saved if I simply export the file but do not create an Affinity project. I frequently do small changes on pictures just to send them by email to a customer. Such pictures are deleted after that, there is no need to create an .afphoto. But I want the software to honor my personal settings no matter if I save or not.
