Ondřej M
I have file with my document, which I am working on for quite a while (since 1.7) Right now I am working on it with latest version of affinity (2.5.3.). When I open this file and try to save it within a minute or so, everything works fine. When I am working on it for a while, five or more minutes, whenever i try to save (no matter what changes I made - if i just corrected few typos or added a table) , this error occurs. When I try to save it under different name, this error occurs This is my hardware and my winfows version (sorry it is in Czech but you should be able to get all the info from it) I am quite desperate, this is two years of my work and i cannot to continue with it no matter what I try. Komatös
Hello @Ondřej M and welcome to the forum. Have you ever restarted Windows after this error occurred? Is fast startup set in your computer's energy settings? If so, please switch it off. How high is the memory utilization? Ondřej M
Yeah restarting was the thirst thing I did. No energy settings, I run affinity on desktop Also after restart it was the only thing running, nothing eating the memory.
walt.farrell
For the "too many files" problem: 1. How many fonts do you have installed, and 2. Which version of the Affinity application did you install? Microsoft Store, EXE/MSI from Affinity Store, or MSIX from Affinity Store? Rod Waibel
I got the same error today. MSIX from Affinity. My folder and file structure is local. I only have 2 embedded images into the file, so I doubt it's that. Has anyone been able to solve this?

After I rasterized them, problems stopped
