sonian
First time user. My second posting re problem #2. When starting development the Highlight and Clipping indicators work individually but as you get further down the development process they stop working. Only the overall tonal clipping indicator then works which provides a yellow indication for both highlights and shadows at the same time. Whilst you can judge which are highlights and which shadows its too messy. Why can't we use Highlight clipping indicator (Red) and Shadow clipping indicator (Blue) individually all the time? walt.farrell
Can you provide a sample file, and perhaps some screenshots or a screen recording, showing the issue? I'm not sure what you mean by "further down the development process", for example. What changes have you made that cause this? sonian
I use Highlight and Shadow Indicators (over/under exposure) switched ON. These work OK when making adjustments to Exposure, Black Point, Brightness, Contrast, Clarity, Shadows and Highlights. That is if I have not adjusted the Saturation or Vibrance at any time. As soon as you adjust any of the latter the HIghlight and Shadow indicators stop working. That is if you return to the first mentioned sliders to make further incremental adjustments you find the Highlight (Red) and Shadow (Blue) indicators have ceased functioning. I do not use the overall clipped tones (a yellow indication). I have already sent you a RAW file re my other Post about underexposed images when they are opened. Thanks Regards Old Bruce
