adrm
As far as I can see, the Pen tool does not have the ability to continue drawing on a shape created previously. I.e. select the end point in a curve and drawing will extend the curve from there.
Staff Jon P Posted July 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 1, 2016 Hi adreamer, I'm not having any issues selecting a node on a curve and continuing drawing with the pen tool, although there is currently an issue where if you click too fast after creating a new node it will think you are double clicking and create a new separate node instead of creating one that joins the current curve, does that sound like what you are experiencing? Staff Chris B Posted July 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 1, 2016 Hi adreamer, If you hold Ctrl and click the end point, you can then continue drawing the line and connect it to the start point etc. How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
adrm
I'm terribly sorry. I meant the "PENCIL tool" The pen tool works as you say. (Is there a way I can edit the subject of this thread?)
Staff Chris B Posted July 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted July 1, 2016 I've edited the title for you. Currently it doesn't look like we can use the pencil or brush tools to continue drawing a line and close it. This is probably more of a 'feature request' than a bug as it isn't possible on the Mac either.
