Senshi
I find myself missing this one a lot. A drop shadow with hard intensity will usually do the trick, but there it's a fine line between slightly blurry edges and edges that look super aliased. Bonus points if we could get an option to fill the space between the original and the outline (essentially connecting them), but that seems more niche. GarryP
If I have understood your requirements correctly, you can already do what you want by using two Outline Effects – see attached video. 7 hours ago, Senshi said: Bonus points if we could get an option to fill the space between the original and the outline (essentially connecting them), but that seems more niche. I don’t understand how that differs from the existing functionality. Can you show us a visual example (preferably a 'before and after') of what you want to do? 2024-08-22 08-59-11.mp4
carl123
1. Duplicate your object 2. Add your required FX Outline to the duplicate 3. Set Fill Opacity to 0% Outline is now essentially a separate object that can be moved, resized etc Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
