carl123 Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 Can you upload that RAW file so we can check it? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. carl123 Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 I'm seeing the same as you, not sure why, maybe it thinks there are not enough shadows in the image that it can affect. Someone else may be able to advise better Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. I think the image largely consists of midtones... If you reduce the exposure by 1 stop you will see the Shadow slider taking effect but only really in the foreground where the sea is darker, the small wave following the breaking wave and very subtly on the mountains in the background... Applying a Shadows Luminosity Curve in the Photo Persona and then adjusting the Shadows shows pretty much the same thing though perhaps a little more pronounced. Applying a Midtones Luminosity Curve picks up almost the entire image... carl123 Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 I also noticed a lot of haze on that image and that running the haze removal filter (twice!) on that image did have a noticeable effect on the develop persona shadow adjustments But that filter rasterised the RAW file so I did not consider that an ideal solution Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
