kat
Is there a way to get a clean outline around AP 2.5.3 doc? Man is drawn with AP brushes then placed in AD. Using FX outline around the AP in AD is pixelated. To help the problem in AD I duplicated the AP behind and FX blur plus white outline. Still isn't as clean as vector stroke. Still I like drawing in AP. Suggestions? Quote Affinity Suite v2.5, Mac Mini M2 Pro 2023, Sonoma, OS 14.1.
thomaso
It seems to follow the pixel edge of the raster image and may appear smoother if you rasterize the layers with outline effect. (also, the applied Gaussian Blur might visually enhance this edge contrast between the blurred image and the unblurred contour, even though the blur effect slightly smoothens the jagged contour.) -> Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
kat
Finally figure out my workaround for smooth outlines. I make vector outline than drag all my AP painted, and vector elements into the vector outline.
