Missing multiple strokes in appearance panel on multiple object selection

When you select two objects with multiple strokes that have the exact same colours and stroke values, only one stroke is shown in the appearance panel — which makes applying changes to many similar objects much more onerous than it should be.

Expected behaviour (as per the video below) would be that upon selecting both objects with the same stroke properties, the appearance panel would display both strokes as applied and editable.
