Different brush preview types for better visibility (preview/outline/combined)

In certain situations it is either very hard or completely impossible to see the shape of the brush preview/cursor:

• When the background color and brush color are very similar (hard to see) or equal (impossible to see)
• When using the paint mixer tool, after cleaning (or before loading) the brush (no cursor at all)

This makes it hard for me to predict the brush stroke I‘m about to draw in these cases.

 

I‘d like to request the addition of an alternate brush cursor mode that shows the shape of the current brush as a high-contrast (inverted background color) outline.

A third option with a combination of both the current preview mode and the suggested one would be great to have, but not strictly necessary.
Ideally, it should be possible to select the preview mode for each tool individually, but just one global option would be perfectly fine to me personally.
