Garrett Cobarr Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 I dive in and out of Photo, Designer and Publisher so often that I believe that I suffer from feature blindness. I thought that Photo 2 had a text ruler, that appeared when you were using the text tool in a text frame, no? If not, how do apply and style things such as tabs? Thanks Quote
thomaso Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 You can use the Paragraph Panel -> "Tab Stops", and "Spacing" for indents. Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6

That text ruler is a feature of Affinity Publisher but not Affinity Photo. It is mentioned in https://affinity.help/publisher2/en-US.lproj/pages/Text/indents.html. I think that either Photo 1 or Designer 1 (or both) might have, at some point, had the Text Ruler button available on the Context Toolbar of the Frame Text Tool for a while but it didn’t do anything, and was there by mistake, so it was later removed.
