Could you add a mark to the colour tags that tell you if a colour is "already in use".
I think a square shape icon would be perfect.  The circles would be the currently unused ones.
So when we go to use it we can quickly see which colours are already in use.  You could still use any one; it's just a visual helper.

In my mock up example, the purple tag is already in use.

And please give us a setting that we could make the tags at the top of the submenu, not the bottom.

Just in case people don't know this, you can also right-click the show/hide icon on any layer to also get to those tags in a much shorter submenu?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Interestingly, however, this shortened context menu does not appear when clicking on a color tag bar, where it would also make sense - especially after the extension with the item Select Same Tag Color.
