Set Number of 'Undo' levels and number of recent files

Recommended Posts

I looked in 'Preferences' but was not able to set the number of 'Undo' levels, does this mean that the default is 'Unlimited'?

Also I wanted to set the number of recent file to show on the 'File' but could not see a way of doing this, is there a default or can you set this number to your required limit?

Hi Light Magic,

If you go to Preferences then Performance you will see a slider for Undo Limit the default is 1024 :) The recent File limit is defined by the OS and is set to 10 by default  :)

The freeware app TinkerTool will allow you to set the number of File > Recent items to none, system defaults, or several fixed values (5 through 30), but this is system wide -- it will affect every app.
