chloehardisty
Hello I'm wondering if I can create a shape then add gridlines to it. I was doing this in illustrator, and then using the live paint bucket tool to fill each grid square individually, enabling me to create really simple pixel art type images. Can I do this on Affinity? Staff MEB Posted October 18, 2014 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2014 Hi chloehardisty, Welcome to Affinity Forums. Currently no, you will have to create the grid manually. The live paint feature was already discussed in other thread and is being considered. It may come later. Have you tried to use a document grid to help you out? Go to View -> Show Grid and give it a try. You can also enable snapping to help position your shapes quickly on the grid.
