augustya Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Hi Guys, So I have a Photo which has been regenerated using AI and the AI has messed up spoiled the neck area of the subject. I want to restore the neck area of the subject. I tried painting on that area with the colour closest to the original photo still it is giving a very afticial look. What are my other options ? I can only put the area that is the issue and not the entire photo for privacy issues Also if you think it can be achieved doing a particular step. Please do mention it here so I can perform these series to achieve that result in future also. There is an Original Photo and the AI Photo. The first one is Original and the Second one is AI Photo. firstdefence Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Make a selection with some feathering of the edges, maybe 25% feathering, of the neck area in the original photo, copy/paste that selection into the AI photo and if needed align it augustya 1 Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... firstdefence Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Once you have made your curve and clicked on the selection option, you can go to Select > Feather... and move the slider to reduce the hardness of the edge, if you are creating a precise selection maybe feathering isn't going to be the best option but if you are going to use feathering I'd suggest you make a larger selection than you actually need so that the selection you make can blend in without harsh lines. augustya Posted August 13, 2024 Author Posted August 13, 2024 Actually just tried this option sent working because now the colour and texture of the neck area falls very different to the rest of the body colour, and texture. Anything that I can do on the existing skin area like use pinpointing tool or clone or patch or whatever ? Nothing of that sort possible ? Quote
