right from the beginning of the extraction it is skipping files because they are corrupted.

That 0x80004005 error probably indicates something is wrong with your system, @tzvi20, not with the file.

If you do a web search for windows extract error 0x80004005 you will find many suggestions for resolving it, many of them dealing with fixing system errors.

@tzvi20: I have just downloaded the complete Box Set .zip file from the Gumroad website, and it extracts just fine for me.

Are you downloading the complete set, or one of the subset files?

Have you tried re-downloading your file?

What version of affinity are you using, and what is the method you're employing to import them?

2.2.1 on windows 11. I tried dragging them and the import content way.

Try double clicking the .afbrushes file. is the "import content" method this:

brush panel > import brushes > select any .afbrush file?

The brushes you selected in the clip are Vector brushes, and can only be imported in the Designer persona. I recognize that you have the "sample set" imported correctly in the clip.

All of the Vector brushes are contained within the Vector Brush folder included in the set. Everything else can be imported through the pixel persona.

I believe that the files are corrupted. Same thing happened in the beta.

Try double clicking one of the .afbrush files and see what it throws at you, also try importing one of them at a time rather than multi-selecting.

same thing. out of curiosity are you compressing them the same way that the original set was. I do not remember having this much trouble then the way that I am having now.

I've just tried downloading from Gumroad again and there doesn't seem to be any problem installing the brushes. The only problem is that the Gouache Brushes are missing!
