When I'm checking where an object is relative to other ones I've noticed that it will only show me the measurement to the nearest object.
In my example if I want to see my circle relative to the *larger box instead of the smaller one, what can I do?

So when we have the move tool selected and Ctrl held down can you make the arrow keys still work for nudging objects please.
Also Shift for coarse nudging.  So when we hold Ctrl and hover our mouse over the target object, we can still nudge our selected object, seeing the measurements in real time.

Could the measure tool have persistent measures please.  You could have multiple measurements on screen and they don't disappear.
They could latch onto its target and stay there dynamically when the target changes.  We could snap new measures onto existing ones.  These persistent measures could be layers, and so could be grouped, hidden etc.  You could click on the measurement numbers and change the numbers and it would move the object to that number.  In this example if I want my line a half inch away from my spread edge then I would click on that number, press 0.5 and the line would be moved to the right until the number is now 0.5.

We would be able to colour our persistent measures on the drawing GUI.  Maybe they could take the colour of a layer tag.  I would know that, "All my purple measures are my A objects relative to my B object" for example.  "My orange measures are my A objects relative to my C object", etc.

We could toggle 'scale with object' off if we want, if zooming out with several measures on screen is distracting.  They would shrink when zooming out when it's toggled off.

Could the area tool show us corner angles please, with icons.  We could toggle that on/off.
It would give us square icons for perpendicular angles.  Light red curve icon for acute, dark red for obtuse, or something.

Yes exactly.

Now start with an off center circle.  Use what you just did and nudge the circle until it's center of the larger square.

No seriously, go ahead.  Show me how it's done.  Use the arrow keys while you're holding the Ctrl key down to center your circle.
You know, the exact thing that I just requested.

Move Tool, select circle, hold Ctrl modifier, and move mouse cursor around larger box.

Read what my request to the devs is, which is directly under my sentence you quoted:

"So when we have the move tool selected and Ctrl held down can you make the arrow keys still work for nudging objects please."
That's the point of the request.

Also see my next sentence:

"Also Shift for coarse nudging.  So when we hold Ctrl and hover our mouse over the target object, we can still nudge our selected object, seeing the measurements in real time."

As in, before you showed up with your, "Like this" I already knew about that.
