Adding the date the photo was taken on the final photo

I was wondering if there a way to include the date and time (from metadata) the picture was taken as a text to the final phote?

As far as I know you can only do it manually, by typing or pasting it using one of the Text Tools.

Maybe it will work one day, when scripting is available in AF.

Even in PS it only works via scripting, which needs quite some experience to write such a script.

I think you misunderstood him. He wants to add a text field on the photo based on the createdate, like a watermark.
