Hi @joy2303,

Could you confirm a couple of things...

  1. Is your Sudoku graphic created in Publisher or is it a Placed graphic, created in Designer or a third-party app?
  2. If a Placed Graphic what file format is it, SVG, JPEG, PNG etc.,?
  3. When copying and pasting are you doing so within the same document?
  4. Are you changing the Publisher document dimensions at any point between copying and pasting the graphic?

Could you upload a sample Publisher file where you see the issue happening along with the Sudoku graphic (if not created directly within Publisher)... Alternatively, could you upload a screen recording that shows the process you're using so we can determine what may be causing the deformation issue?

Hi @joy2303,

It's difficult to tell without seeing the PDF file but check the Picture Frame Properties by selecting the Picture Frame and then clicking Properties in the Context toolbar... You will likely need to change the properties from Stretch to Fit to either Scale to Min Fit or Scale to Max Fit...

If that doesn't work could you upload the PDf so we can take a look...

Did you check the Picture Frame Properties as well?

Is everything working correctly for you now or do you still have any issues?

Hi @joy2303,

Thanks for the PDF file...

The file itself includes content additional to the Sudoku puzzle, i.e., a title, footer and QR Code which may be causing the scaling problem depending on how your Picture Frames are set up and whether you Placed or Opened the PDF in the source Publisher file...

Could you upload both your Publisher documents or even just a single page from both versions so we can see how everything is set up in both your original and new Publisher files...

We can't see the Layers panel in your screen recording so it's difficult to see exactly what is being pasted where... could you upload another screen recording where you're seeing this problem but with the Layers Panel fully visible...

There are a few factors at play so having the actual documents will help to identify exactly what is causing the problem...
