Word Endnote Hyperlinks Not Recognised When Placed in Publisher

However, Placing a Word file containing foot and endnote hyperlinks into a Publisher document recognises and honours the footnote hyperlinks but fails to recognise or therefore honour the endnote hyperlinks...

This applies to both Mac and Windows...
