Ken MacAllister Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 I had Affinity running in the background for a few days while working in other applications. Today I toggled over to Affinity and it was in a very strange mode. The three files I had open were still open, and the Apple menu bar was there, but the rest of the UI had vanished. All the other toolbars and panels were gone. Going through the View menu, I was able to turn the Tools, Toolbar, and Context Toolbar back on again, but the panels over on the right that show layers and effects are still gone. I have gone through every menu item, everything in settings, and searched through help, and I am at a total loss. I have no idea how this happened, and I have no idea how to get the right side panels to re-appear. I attached a screenshot of what it looks like. If there is a way in the interface to get these panels back, it isn't obvious at all. For now, I can't use Affinity until this gets fixed. It's useless to me if I can't see all the layers and effects. If anyone knows what's going on here, please let me know. Thanks. Quote

You probably pressed Tab, the shortcut for View > Toggle User Interface. Just press it again. Staff NathanC Posted August 10, 2024 Staff Posted August 10, 2024 Since you've already turned the tools, context toolbars etc. back on you can also re-enable the panels you want via the 'Window' menu, or just reset all the studio panels to their default via Window > Studio > Reset Studio. Quote
