Streak Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 So I'm helping a friend lay out her book that she's looking to self publish and while doing so I notice there's no epub format for exporting from Affinity Publisher. Is there an add on to do this or some method this can be done without needing a separate service? Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 No; epub exports are not possible yet. You could export to fixed-format PDF and then try converting that (which will have issues). Or you could copy/paste into another application such as LibreOffice and have it produce an epub file for you. Yeah, that's what I was a afraid of, kind of defeats the purpose of using Affinity to set up all of my styles and everything and make it all nice just to have to copy and paste it into another software what's going to fudge up everything I did, so I can turn it into an EPUB. Seems like a pretty big misstep to not have an EPUB export. I did try converting my nice-looking PDF and it totally borked it up, so that's a no go there. Thanks anyway! You're always so helpful and on the ball with everything, I appreciate your attentiveness and willing to help in the forums! Quote
