olgamikks
Hi, I’d like to use Affinity Designer for designing user interfaces, but, you know, it’s so tricky to design interfaces without this feature. Can someone help me? All the best, Vladislav
evtonic3
Looks like the beta 1.5 does this already, only that I have found that you have to align two objects vertically or horizontally first then the distance reader will show. This feature might be in the early stages of development though.

Staff Ben Posted June 28, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 28, 2016 If you notice, Sketch only shows you the distances if you align one edge. If you don't snap/align it doesn't show you anything. To me, it is also so random in what it decides to show that it drives me to distraction. We have shown the distances on snapping indicators. I am also adding the Alt-mouse distance checker, and experimenting with a temporary distance indicator when you use keyboard nudge. anon1 and MEB 2 Quote SerifLabs team - Affinity Developer Software engineer - Photographer - Guitarist - Philosopher iMac 27" Retina 5K (Late 2015), 4.0GHz i7, AMD Radeon R9 M395 MacBook (Early 2015), 1.3GHz Core M, Intel HD 5300 iPad Pro 10.5", 256GB
