Now the software is full of bugs - particularly selecting colours, using the flood fill or brush. Very slow and unpredictable. Help please. I bought it from App Store Quote
Hangman Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 Hi @KathyPearce and welcome to the forums, I would suggest a Factory Reset of Designer by holding the Ctrl Key while launching the App until you see the Clear User Data window. Leave the first three options ticked then hit the Clear button... let Designer finish loading and then see if that fixes everything... If not, repeat but this time add a checkmark in all the boxes in the top section and try again... If you still find certain things slow go to the Affinity Designer Settings and under the Performance section uncheck Hardware Acceleration and see if that improves things... Let us know how you get on...
