Abnormal Copy-Paste Behavior in Publisher

When I copy my plot from DataGraph and paste it into a new document in Publisher, the size becomes distorted. Some parts appear normal, but others, including all the text, are 1000 times larger than expected. DataGraph offers an auto-copy feature and options to copy as PDF or bitmap. However, the auto-copy and PDF options do not work, while the bitmap option results in a small, pixelated image.

Interestingly, pasting into Pages, Keynote, and Word works as expected. Additionally, if I open a PDF in Publisher and then paste, it works correctly, but pasting into a new document causes these issues. I have checked the DPI and sizes, which are set correctly at 300 DPI.

How can I fix this? Is there a way to make Publisher respect the size of the objects I paste? I assumed that a simple copy-paste should work without these problems.

I found a solution.

You created a new document with 72 DPI and then it was properly. You can later change the DPI to 300 and the document looks ok. 

This is a big bug that I hope to fix fast as pasting objects and PDFs in the document is paramount for Publisher.

I can confirm this is logged with our development team as a bug in the latest update, our apologies.

I will be sure to 'bump' this with our team now, to bring it to their attention once again - though I'm glad to hear you've found a workaround in the meantime.

The issue "Artistic Text scales unexpectedly when pasting between different DPI documents " (REF: AF-3449) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.2805). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.

The issue "Artistic Text scales unexpectedly when pasting between different DPI documents " (REF: AF-3449) has been fixed by the developers in the latest release build (2.5.6.2887). The fix is available from today in  the 2.5.6 customer release .
