dr5chrome Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 well, I found this forum. Please ignore it in the bugs forum - Hellos again. Pardon what may seem like a silly question.. When I open an image [and it took me awhile to figure out how to get to develop], then go to develop, I cant seem to be able to edit anything.. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? If i move any of the sliders the image doesnt change at all ... TY. dw Quote
stuck Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Can you give us more details? Are you on Win or Mac? What version of Affinity Photo are you using? What type of file are you opening, RAW or JPEG/TIFF/etc.? How are you opening the file? Meanwhile, on my Win 11 laptop, using v2.5.3 of Affinity Photo 2, I can't reproduce your problem. The sliders in the Develop Persona change the image. Quote

P.S. hard to advise "what you are doing wrong" without any information about "what you are doing". Oidyuk Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I think maybe you are trying to develop a blank pixel layer? Try unticking the . Show All Layers , at the top of the screen . You don't need to go to Develop persona if it is not a Raw file. Old Bruce 1 Quote
Old Bruce Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 It may be that you have an empty Pixel layer selected Ninja-ed by @Oidyuk' Here are some pics to illustrate. All functions for editing already developed images, i.e. for JPEG, TIFF, etc. are available in Photo Persona.
