Feature Request - QR Code Data Input

Editing the data input field for QR Codes in Affinity Designer 2 is difficult because there is no line wrap and the input field is very short. Please consider making the data input field a multi-line text input box so that it's easier and more likely that one can see and edit the data more clearly.

I can confirm that the QR Code Editor when set to 'URL' type will only support a singular line of text, as multi-line text is not a supported function of URL paths.

However, I do agree that this dialog is a little short for viewing/editing URLs and I also note the behaviour is slightly different on macOS when the URL extends past the input field visible limit, therefore I'll be logging this with our development team for further consideration now.

You need "multi-line text input box" for URL, which is single line in principle? I have not personally seen yet multi-line address bar with line wrap in the web browser, because it makes it impossible/complicated to enter the URL correctly.

@Pšenda I understand that there aren’t spaces and such in a URL. But when creating a QR code using the input box provided in Affinity Designer, it’s hard to edit.

I’m simply asking for a better interface in Designer for editing the URL. A multi-line input box is one possible solution.
