MikeTO Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I know this has been discussed before but I don't know that it's been reported as a real issue. The minimum heights of some panels are so small that you can't use the panels. It's not an issue when they're floating or docked at the top of a studio, but when they're docked at the bottom of a studio and collapsed, they re-open at their minimum height, at least on macOS. Docking Text Frame, Notes, Cross-References, and Pinning at the bottom of the studio means you will always need to resize them when double-clicking their tabs because they'll be barely visible. Other panels such as Hyperlinks, Anchors, Fields, and Tags have a more useful minimum height. Could the minimum heights of Text Frame, Notes, Cross-References, and Pinning be increased to at least match Hyperlinks and Anchors so these panels can be used more effectively at the bottom of a studio? This is likely not a problem for those who use large monitors because you can just leave the bottom studio group expanded all the time. But with a small screen, you have to collapse panel groups. Every time I double-click to expand a panel group, I have to mouse to the drag bar which is slow because I have to be precise or I'll tear the panel off, then drag it a good height, just so I can edit one text field. Staff Lee D Posted August 22, 2024 Staff Posted August 22, 2024 @MikeTO Thanks for the report. I've logged this as an improvement to the current default size of some of the studios within the apps. MikeTO and BBG3 2 Quote
