One_Of_The_Few Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 I have just bought a new laptop and I'm having issues trying to login to Affinity Photo 2. I have the version from the Windows store. When I get to the login window (pictured) I enter my details and the window display a progress bar for a few seconds and then just closes and Photo V2 does not launch. It also does the same thing if I enter the wrong password. Everything is working as expected on my desktop machine and my old laptop. I'm running Windows 11 Home, 64bit ARM version 24H2. Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Welcome to the Affinity forums. The ARM64 versions of the Affinity applications have a problem if your Affinity Store account has 2-Factor Authentication enabled. You may need to login to the Affinity Store and disable 2FA in your account settings there until this is resolved. Logged as AF-2133 If you don't have 2FA enabled in your Affinity Store Account this won't explain it. One_Of_The_Few Posted August 6, 2024 Author Posted August 6, 2024 Hi Walt, thanks for your speedy reply, I turned off 2FA and that fixed it. Quote

GL71 Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 Hijacking this, as I have the same issue. Tried to start Photo and had a bluescreen on the Splash screen (loading fonts). After a PC restart (Win 11), I get the same screen, but entering my store.serif.com account simply results in "try again". I had no 2FA, so I followed the reverse, activated it, but still get the same issue regardless if 2FA is active or not. All three apps show the same issue. I have a perpetual license for all platforms. Guido Quote

What to do if the activation of Affinity applications does not work MSIX Close all Affinity apps Open Windows Run (Windows key + R) Enter/paste the following: %USERPROFILE%\.affinity\Common\2.0\ Select the files “license.dat” and “cs.dat” in this folder and delete both.
