I'm starting to get to grips with this now and have had a lot of success - big learning curve to say I'm very happy in Illustrator. But a weird thing happened just now. I've created quite a complicated file for a gumball machine (box) and all works well apart from the fact that these two pieces won't stay in place AND they turn upside down!! I've attached a pic of what the AD file looks like, and a pic of how the SVG comes into Design Space. I don't seem to be able to fix it and would be very grateful for any suggestions.
I'm not sure if it's a DS issue... the SVG WILL go into Silhouette Studio Business Edition okay, but it comes in way too small (even though it's 72dpi and Set Viewbox is not checked). But I can then make it the right size in SSBE and export it again from there as an SVG, and THAT comes into Design Space just fine. Nothing else I've tried in AD works. I need to be able to sell this file so it comes in the right size and with everything in the right place and would really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Right, I'll answer my own question in case this helps somebody else. On closer examination of all the pieces, I worked out that I must have drawn those green short wall pieces in a wide orientation and then turned them around to better fit on the layout, and THEN I must have created the score lines. The cut piece had the little hanging rotational handle thingy (whatever that's called) sticking off the left hand side, when I clicked on it, and the scores had it sticking off the top. So, all I did was turn the cut piece (green piece) around so the little hanging handle (?) was up at the top again, redrew the scores, and it all works perfectly now. Weird, eh?? Learnt something tho.
