alnilam Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 When opening a file with missing fonts in Publisher, fonts using Chinese as the font name are not recognized correctly and are displayed as garbled or question marks. This makes it difficult to replace Chinese fonts correctly. However, in the character window, the font name can be displayed correctly. Also, the forum's bot recognition feature can't be accessed properly in mainland China. It‘s difficult to complete a forum account password reset. Quote

Can you provide a copy of a PDF doc where you have experienced this garbled font title issue on import, as well as a copy of any of the font files where you are seeing the question marks when substituting the font? I've provided a private upload link below, just let me know once you've uploaded the files. 🙂 https://www.dropbox.com/request/PYxZm39e6OkDxRwNE0x9 On 8/6/2024 at 3:25 PM, alnilam said: When copying Chinese character elements and images from one PDF file to another, the font size of the Chinese characters becomes a very small value. This is a known issue currently logged with the developers, when copying and pasting text objects between documents with different DPI values the text is scaled based on the DPI difference. I've bumped the existing issue with your report. Quote
