In Affinity Photo, I've used the pen tool to create outlines for various regions in an image, and I'm planning to use the image as a clickable "map" on a web page. It would make things much faster if I could view (or extract) the various points of the outlines in pixel coordinates so I could just put those into the shapes for defining the clickable regions.

Is there a way to view this information? Or is my best bet to just eyeball the regions and look at the cursor coordinates directly?

(NOTE: I'm aware that curve points won't actually be on the curves, and I'm happy to work with that restriction if I could just get a list of all the points defining a shape.)

If this is possible in, e.g., Affinity Designer or even Publisher, I'm happy to move over to one of those, as I have licenses for those as well. :)

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @YuzuDrink. :)

If you click on a node (on-curve point) with the Node Tool, the X and Y boxes in the Transform panel will display its coordinates. I don’t believe there’s a similarly direct and accurate way to determine the coordinates of the control handles (off-curve points) but I’d be delighted to be proved wrong about that.

If you export a shape to SVG format you can view the SVG in notepad to see the definition of the shape

This link will help you understand that part of the SVG file (specifically the Path command)

Good luck

... or if you use rectangular regions, they will be exported as "rect".
In any case, I recommend naming the region curves, as this allows for easier orientation in the exported document.
