If a user plays with Snapping's Screen Tolerance control and changes it from the default of 8, they won't know how to get it back to the default state. They can drag it around until they get back to something that feels comfortable but I'm the type of user who after playing with a feature, wants to put it back to the default. I understand why tolerance isn't part of a preset but that's the only 'reset' feature in the window. The tolerance units are not explained so it's a bit unclear.

Perhaps the slider could have a tick mark showing where the slider's default was? And maybe the slider could "snap" to the tick mark. 🙂

Perhaps the slider could also have labels at each end, such as closer and further. I understand why Help doesn't explain exactly what the units are but some sort of label, even a small magnet icon at one end and a larger magnet icon at the other end, would be helpful.

Just for those reading this and wondering what the tolerance units are, they correspond to pixels but it's complicated. On macOS, if your System Settings > Displays magnification is set to Default, then the tolerance units will be the same as pixels with a non-retina screen and half of the number of pixels with a retina screen. Changing the magnification level will multiply or divide the units. I assume it works similarly on Windows but this is why the units aren't mentioned, it's hard to explain.
