GarryP Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 With your Quick Shape* selected, press the ‘cog’ icon on the Context Toolbar and choose “Create Preset...” from the menu – see attached image (which is taken from Designer, but that doesn't matter as it's the same in all three applications). Note 1: You can only add a Quick Shape Preset from a Quick Shape. If your shape is not a Quick Shape then you can use the Asset functionality instead. Note 2: If a Quick Shape Preset with the settings you have chosen already exists then you cannot add a new (duplicate) one. Note 3: The only Quick Shape Presets that are available for any Quick Shape type are those for that Quick Shape type; you cannot choose to apply a Preset from a different type of Quick Shape. * A Quick Shape is a shape that is created with the shape tools on the Tools Panel (Rounded Rectangle Tool, Cog Tool, etc.), even though they don't seem to be called Quick Shapes in the Help anymore which is a shame as that helps to differentiate them from 'general' shapes. Where should I download more shapes and import affinity? Quote Amateur.
GarryP Posted August 4, 2024 Posted August 4, 2024 As far as I know there are no Quick Shape Presets to download and import. There might be some out there in the forums, or on the web, but you would have to search for them. Quote

If you mean more quick shape tools (like the Cog, Spiral, Polygon, etc. tools) you cannot download & add any more to the ones built into the apps. What you can do is search the web for interesting vector shapes & add them as assets. carl123 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.7
