Jaydon Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Hello all, I've tried searching through the forums to first see if this has been asked and I did not find any, so I apologize if I am mistaken and this question has been asked before. What I am trying to accomplish is to use some custom curves/shapes I made and have them follow a curve path just like the dashed stroke option for a curve's path. Here is a photo of What I am trying to do (I kept getting upload errors so here is an Imgur link to the photo): https://imgur.com/a/dOWt5iu Is this possible with the current set of features? Thanks for any help. Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Something like this? On top, I created two shapes and Grouped them in the Layers panel. I then copied the Group, drew a curve, clicked the curve with the Artistic Text Tool to give a Curve Path Text layer (top layer in Layers panel), then Pasted onto the curve several times. Current features of what? – In AD (not in APh) you can create a texture/image brush of your pattern and apply this to vector curves, like so: Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
